You’ll find that this calendar takes the stress away of trying to figure out what to do every day.

This shopping list has all the necessary supplies you’ll need for all 30 activities so you only have to shop once.

Many of the activities only require gathering things around the house. Those are not included in the prep guide, but can actually be turned into an activity in itself.

I'm Joy Manning

I created 30 Days of Sensory Play  for you

As an educator and a mother, I’ve spent plenty of hours searching Pinterest, wasting time trying to plan exciting and new activities. Just like menu planning, I’ve had days where I just wished someone would do it for me! That’s why I made this for you.

I started teaching preschool in 2007, specializing in working with kids with autism. Many of the kids I’ve worked with have sensory issues. Providing all kinds of sensory input for my students was essential, and quite frankly is beneficial for all kids.

I received my Early Childhood Special Education Certificate from Utah State University, and a Masters of Education from Arizona State University. I love working with kids, and understand the power of play.

I want you to:

  • spend more quality time with your child exploring and playing because that’s how kids learn best.
  • save valuable time searching and planning, I’ve already done that part for you.

Absolutely! Many kids with autism have sensory issues, I’ve used many of these activities with my students before. Many of the activities are also adaptable to meet your kid right where he/she is at.

Yes and no. As you know, all kids are different. They have different interests, different skills, and different reactions to sensory input. Honestly, some activities will be a hit for your child and others may not. You may even find that one day an activity is so engaging and fun that you decide to do it another day and it’s a total flop. I’ve given a lot of tips and ideas for each activity to help keep your child engaged though.

Yes, these activities have a variety of sensory input for your sensory seekers. Activities are marked by what type of sensory input your child may get. Including, sight, sound, tactile, smell, taste, proprioceptive, and vestibular.

Yes, if your child has a tendency to avoid sensory input, these activities will give them an opportunity to take in what they can. Don’t force it, but make the opportunity available. Even if a child avoids certain senses, it’s good for them to still have the exposure, especially when they have more control of the circumstances.

Most of these activities are meant for you to be able to spend quality time with your child. They may not necessarily be appropriate for unsupervised play.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to spend more quality time with your kids! Save time on planning and get your copy of 30 Days Of Sensory Play today.
